TOO MUCH SYLVIA has the desire to please and play something that everyone will enjoy. Their fun, contagious personalities will touch all. Whether it’s a low key dinner setting or an energetic 80’s party, the band easily adapts. By NOT working from a “set list”, 2MS has the ability to “feel the mood”, pace the song selection and provoke audience interaction to reach a peak at the right moment. The band understands how to “work” the events . . . . whether it’s working with planners, wearing tuxedos, emceeing festivities or learning that special song . . . . TOO MUCH SYLVIA features THREE lead vocalists that are obviously having fun – Eddy with his crystal clear voice to Steve’s funky, soul sound and Rick’s scratchy rock & roll, pretty much have the vocal styles covered. Their vocal blend and harmonies are, really . . . a major part of the 2MS sound. Combine all the above, with their tight, tasteful musical arrangements and Drummer Don’s rhythms, makes the groove appealing to dancers at a comfortable sound level for everyone.

Rick’s passion for playing and entertaining is quickly obvious. With a knack for the flow of the event, he paces the evening accordingly. Rick will be your contact and is very accessible. Understanding different needs of the buyers, he will listen to your ideas and offer suggestions. Hard to beat experience, and from his time in TOO MUCH SYLVIA and the prior band, SUGARCREEK, there is plenty to draw from.

The edge and cut to TMS's tight rhythm section is from Steve’s guitar. From their dinner sets to Motown, of course the 70’s & 80's and into today’s music from Nelly to Maroon 5, Steve adapts to the many styles, flawlessly. He also sings many of the funky tunes. His past, bands include, DIAMONDS, STRATUS & THE VANDALS. Steve, also plays with SUGARCREEK, on their reunion gigs.

The moment you hear the first note from Eddy’s high, crystal clear voice, will make you a fan and appreciative of his talent. The fun-loving antics and his charisma are not only un-deniable but also contagious. Very solid, sounding bass groove only adds to Don’s (the drummer) infectious beat. Onstage, Eddy is the glue. He played with SUGARCREEK and also spent some time with THE FANTASTIC SHAKERS!

Don’s has that natural “feel” to keep the dancers, dancing and the listeners, grooving! Quick to flash a smile, is a genuine trait of his that rubs off on the band, the music and the crowd. You can’t help but watch, Don! He’s been with TMS since January of 2000 and previous band stops include: CAPTAIN COOK & THE COCONUTS, THE POOR SOULS and national recording artists, THE OUTLAWS!
