2025 Too Much Sylvia enters their 35th year 2MS has performed OVER 4000 shows, from DC to the Caribbean 2MS was inducted into The Carolina Beach Music Hall (CBMA) of Fame in 2019 And one last fact that stands out - it’s been the same 4 guys since 2000! 2MS has added a 9’ LED video wall and a state-of-the-art sound system that takes their production up to another level.

The latest 2MS song is (I’m Just Livin’ for) “ANOTHER DAY” was voted the 2024 Cammy Awards for Song, Writer & Video of the Year. 2MS also is voted the “Group of the Year” award!

TOO MUCH SYLVIA will play something that everyone can enjoy.      FESTIVALS, INDEPENDENCE DAY, MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATIONS & AFTER FIVES - 2MS’s recent addition of an 9’ video wall has allowed them to present a very touching Tribute to the Men and Women serving our country, Veterans, and all Americans. The wall and videos are synchronized with the live show for many other songs in their repertoire too, only adding to the entertainment value. Event sponsors can also be added to this presentation. Having developed a loyal following of friends & fans sporting their RED SUNGLASSES and singing along to the band’s songs, 2MS attracts good crowds in the Carolina's also reaching into Virginia.  2MS continues to generate even more fans through radio and internet airplay with the success of TEN, #1 songs including FOUR "CBMA Songs of the Year" since 2014.  Again, the normal presentation can provide anything from a few "unplugged" tunes, some Beach, Motown, Funky 70s, Retro 80s, a few of the top current hits, and some Country.  Blend this in with some possible "special guests" such as ZZ Topp, Village People, Pit Bull, Boy George, Four Seasons. The Lettermen, etc . . . along with the LED video wall, and it really turns into the perfect upbeat presentation for these types of events.

TOO MUCH SYLVIA is:

Steve Long, the primary lead vocalist, also plays guitar. In 2020 & 2023 he won the prestigious Male Vocalist of the Year w/the Carolina Beach Music Association.

Eddy Howie covers the bass guitar duties and because of his natural high singing abilities, he’s able to sing the songs from the Jersey Boys to Journey!

Drummer Don Leonard works the solid groove with Eddy, while he flashes a smile, providing a great feel to keep the audience moving.

Rick Lee is the keyboardist who steps out front occasionally to get the crowd involved and sing a few R&R songs. Individually, he has been honored w/5 Songwriter and 5 Producer of the Year Awards from the Carolina Beach Music Association where he is a member of the Hall of Fame.

Their vocal blend and harmonies are, really . . . a major part of the 2MS sound.  Combine all the above, with their tight, tasteful musical arrangements and it’s a presentation that is appealing to dancers and listeners at a comfortable sound level for everyone.
